Tory

Tory is our Cardigan among the Pembrokes — and the dog who brought an entirely new personality into our home from the very beginning. Confident, attentive and wonderfully expressive, she knows how to be serious when the situation calls for it, but at home she quickly reminds us that behind all those championship titles is a great lover of attention and affection.

Tory truly values contact with people. She will happily come over for her share of cuddles, and if your hand happens to stop before she thinks it should, she will gently — and sometimes not so gently — remind you with her paw that the job is not yet finished. At the same time, she is intelligent, independent and observant, understands the people around her remarkably well and certainly knows how to get what she wants.

Tory has been very successful in the show ring, becoming first a Junior Champion of Israel and later a Champion of Israel. To us, her achievements are about more than titles: showing her has given us the opportunity to watch her mature, develop and grow from a young dog into a beautiful and confident representative of her breed.

Tory is where the Cardigan Welsh Corgi story of Holy Paws began. Today, we hope she will become the foundation of our own Cardigan line. In the meantime, Tory remains the dog who perfectly combines the dignity of a champion with the firm conviction that one of the main purposes of having a human nearby is to provide endless cuddles — preferably without interruptions.
